Removing a Proxy Virus (127.0.0.1:8080) from Windows 10

I also had the problem of this reset after a restart.

After trying multiple antivirus and malware cleaners. I found Adwcleaner to be the most useful. It removed PUP.Optional.PrxySvrRST, which solved my proxy problem and was undetected by other malware cleaners.
